This is part 1 of the seminar entitled “Come Search With Me” by Dr. Subodh Pandit.

Dr. Subodh Pandit has gone through with this searching of the truth. He analyzed the mainstream philosophical standpoints of the differing religions such as Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, as well as Atheism. In his search, he looked at the validity of the claims of each philosophical system, and for the exclusive weight of evidences.

Which religion has the logical and reasonable explanation to relevant questions in life? What does each religion offers to humanity and how it affects humans?

In this Part 1 of a four series, he laid down the basic ingredients of a successful and reasonable searching. The three attitudes of a searcher Dr. Pandit mentioned in the video can also be applied to any subject of interest, not only in religion.

Three Attitudes of a Searcher:

  1. Skeptic – dismisses a report prior to thorough investigation
  2. Believer – accepts the report prior to thorough investigation
  3. Inquirer – holds the verdict until investigation is done

Ingredients in Searching:

  1. Humility
  2. Honesty
  3. Calmness
  4. Respect

Also in Part 1 is the discussion on the claims of Atheism. Questions that were discussed and answered are like the following:

  • “Is There a God?”
  • “Who Design The Designer?”
  • “How Logical and Reasonable Are The Claims of Atheism?”

Please take time to watch the video. You will never waste a time from watching it. It is indeed eye-opening and very relevant to our generation.
