The Central Luzon Conference (CLC) launched the Amazing Grace Media Productions (AGMP) at Manila Evangelistic Center on Jan. 23, 2010 with the Theme “It’s Time” that enlivened the jam-packed congregation.
Commonly known as the TV Ministry, the AGMP’s vision and mission were presented by Pastor Petronio Genebago, the CLC Communication director. He also recognized the presence of media volunteers, partners, supporters, talents, and invited Adventists who are media ministry converts.

“The realizations to God’s question to Moses ‘What is that in your hand?’ in Exodus 4:2-3 is the birth of the AGMP,” Genebago related. “After this ceremony, where are we heading? The answer would be to excellent media productions for the glory of God”.
Amazing stories and testimonies on how God has been using the power of media were highlighted.
Lourdes Barbero-Ramos of the LL7 Sola Scriptura Ministry, who aided in equipping the AGMP technically with her single donation of equipment, attended the launching. She challenged Adventists to support the AGMP every Sabbath through their love offerings.
“Your one peso or even more every Sabbath will go a long way in leading more lost souls to our faith,” Ramos said.
CLC President Carmelito Galang, Jr. shared his vision by first thanking God for Gideon 300 Evangelism Ministry and CLC members who committed themselves to ensure the success of the AGMP which according to him will happen ‘until Jesus comes again’.
“If you are willing to give for the AGMP, you are also willing to give your life for the Gospel work,” Galang said. “We envision the AGMP to be a local partner of Hope Channel, Three Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN), Loma Linda Broadcasting Network (LLBN), and will take part in the programming of Coronary Health Improvement Project (CHIP) in the Philippines.”
Pastor Jonathan Catolico, Southern-Asia Pacific Division (SSD) Communication director delivered the main message.
“God invites us to walk our faith and launching the AGMP is a bold illustration of our faith”, Catolico said. “It’s time to set our faith in God, to get rooted in His words, to build up the truth, to grow stronger, and to share our hope in this post-modern society.”

Catolico also commended the CLC for pushing forward the Gospel work through the television ministry which he wished to be a model to other fields of SSD”.
Pastor Romeo Mangiliman, North Philippine Union Conference (NPUC) Communication director, spoke in the commitment service in the afternoon. In his message, he reminded church members that they are called to be blessed by God and be a channel of His blessings through the media ministry.
“God wants to prosper you and to bless you as you support the needs of the AGMP,” Mangiliman said.
After 22 AGMP volunteers got their TV know-how skills in October 2009, vision casting and skills transfer are the priorities of the media team. The AGMP aims to produce programs that are Bible-based, Filipino in spirit, and with a touch of excellence as their program directions suggest.
“Today, thanks be to God that out there in the cyberspace we have Hope Channel, 3ABN, LLBN, and now the AGMP is soaring high to do its share in finishing the Gospel Commission,” Catolico added.
